Product Overview
Japanese-to-English firmware conversion for Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV/Hybrid vehicles equipped with a compatible MMCS J-11, J-12, J-13, J-15 or J-16 head unit.
This listing is specifically for the Outlander PHEV/Hybrid application. Standard, non-PHEV updates are listed separately. Vehicle model, year and screen appearance alone do not confirm compatibility.
Choose an emailed firmware download for self-installation, a prepared SD card delivered by courier for self-installation, or a prepared SD card with in-person installation at DASHMOD INFOTAINMENT. Head-unit hardware is not included.

Compatibility and Requirements
Vehicle application: Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV/Hybrid.
Supported head-unit models: MMCS J-11, J-12, J-13, J-15 and J-16.
Confirm both your head-unit model and vehicle application before ordering. Vehicle year or a similar-looking screen alone does not confirm compatibility.
The original MAP SD card is required and must remain in the MAP slot. Installation uses the USER slot.
This product is not intended for standard, non-PHEV applications.

Important Limitations
- The FM tuning range remains 76–90 MHz. This conversion does not expand the radio frequency range.
- Removing the Japanese map display does not install replacement maps for Kenya or another region.
- Head-unit hardware is not included.
- Download orders are fulfilled manually after payment and compatibility checks; this is not an instant download.

Prepared SD Card – Courier Delivery
Receive a prepared conversion card for self-installation after compatibility confirmation. Product payment and courier charges are handled separately, with delivery arrangements and both payments confirmed before dispatch.
Follow our Mitsubishi MMCS SD Installation Guide. The supplied update card goes into the USER slot; your original MAP card must remain in the MAP slot. Do not format the supplied card or your original MAP card.
This option does not include in-person installation. Contact us before ordering if your original MAP card is missing or faulty.
SD Card with In-Person Installation
The KSh 15,000 price includes the prepared SD card and installation at DASHMOD INFOTAINMENT, Elgon Court, Ralphe Bunche Road. Your vehicle must attend with its original MAP card in place.
Book your installation appointment. Booking and compatibility confirmation are required before travelling. A calendar reservation alone does not confirm compatibility. Contact us for precise arrival directions.
Payment is due after successful installation. If unsuccessful, no payment is due for either the installation or the prepared SD card.
Installation Support
Installation-related support is available through email or WhatsApp Business for:
- Emailed downloads: 30 days after purchase.
- SD card with in-person installation: 30 days from the installation date.
- Courier-delivered prepared SD cards: 30 days from the date you receive or collect the card.
Support covers installation of the purchased update, not unrelated vehicle or hardware repairs.
