Japanese-to-English conversion for the Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC-MRZ07 head unit.
Installation is performed by DASHMOD INFOTAINMENT at our office by confirmed appointment. Your vehicle must be physically present. This service is not available as a download or through SD-card delivery.
The conversion retains the features supported by the head unit. Head-unit hardware is not included.
Conversion Features
- English-language interface: Converts the head-unit menus and on-screen controls from Japanese to English.
- Japanese voice removal: Removes Japanese voice announcements.
- Existing features retained: Preserves the functions supported by the head-unit model. The conversion does not add hardware-dependent features that the unit does not already support.
Compatibility and Requirements
This service is for a confirmed Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC-MRZ07 head unit.
Compatibility depends on the exact head-unit model and configuration, not the vehicle manufacturer alone. A similar-looking unit or similar model number does not establish compatibility.
Before booking, provide your vehicle make, model and year, together with a clear photograph of the complete head unit and its model designation. Include a system-information photograph if readily accessible through the normal menus. Do not dismantle the unit or change settings to identify it.
Pioneer/Carrozzeria head units may be fitted to vehicles from various manufacturers, including Mazda, Subaru, Nissan and Toyota. This service is specifically for a confirmed AVIC-MRZ07 head unit. Vehicle make and year alone do not establish compatibility; please provide a photograph of your fitted unit before booking.

Important Limitations
- The FM tuning range remains 76–90 MHz. This conversion does not expand the radio frequency range.
- The conversion does not install replacement maps for Kenya or another region.
- Bluetooth availability and functionality depend on the head-unit model and its supported equipment. English conversion does not add unsupported Bluetooth capabilities.
- Head-unit hardware is not included.
- No customer download or SD-card delivery is offered.
Booking and Installation
Installation takes place at Elgon Court, Ralphe Bunche Road, by confirmed appointment. Contact us for precise office and arrival directions.
We reserve a one-hour appointment. Installation typically takes approximately 45 minutes, although individual units may require longer.
Use the Book installation button to reserve a time. A calendar reservation does not, by itself, confirm compatibility. Obtain confirmation from DASHMOD INFOTAINMENT before travelling.
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling. If this is not possible, contact us promptly. No cancellation, rescheduling or no-show fee is currently charged.
Price and Payment
The installation price is KSh 4,500, payable after installation. No deposit or advance payment is required.
If the conversion is unsuccessful, we will restore the head unit to its original state and no installation fee will be charged.
Existing Data
The installation procedure is designed to preserve saved settings, paired phones, saved destinations and other existing customer data, including stored music where supported by the head unit.
DASHMOD INFOTAINMENT does not create a customer-data backup as part of this service.
Installation Support
Includes 30 days of installation-related support after installation, through email or WhatsApp Business.
Support covers the conversion performed by DASHMOD INFOTAINMENT. It does not include unrelated vehicle repairs, hardware repairs or future updates unless expressly agreed. The support period does not limit your statutory rights.
If you experience a problem after installation, contact us with your appointment details and a description of the issue before attempting further changes. The Mitsubishi MMCS SD installation guide does not apply to this unit.
